w.o.r.d.s.
Saturday, March 31, 6:51 a.m.
I have NO voice.
None. At all. Not even a raspy croaky sound. I am completely incapable of making noise.
I've been sick for the week, I though I was getting better though.
And then all of a sudden today, after job hunting (and getting) I lose my voice.
I don't feel too sick but this still sucks.
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow because I think I need some pharmaceutical assistance with the healing process
Normally I would just let this beastly cold run its course but unfortunately I do not have much time this week or the next and I have a feeling I'll get worse if I don't get some antibiotics to kill the mother fucker germs.
As for the lack of voice I'm just not talking and I'm drinking lemon water.
My throat is still rather sore and the gland on my neck is swollen because of it, but slowly it's kind of going down. At least it doesn't hurt to move my head anymore.
I need to pick up some coldFX one of these days too.
Maybe I'll do that after a visit to the doctor.
I still can't believe that in two more weeks I'll no longer be an employee at Staples.
I will miss it, but I'm still really excited.
And I'll be a part of the land of the living.
YAY! No more night crew!!!
Friday, March 30, 3:35 p.m.
So I just got a new job today.
I'll be working at a coffee shop called Tamaringo's.
I'm extremely excited. It's very close to my apartment, and it's close to bus stops so if I move it's still easily accessable.
It's not full time right away, but I am probably going to get fulltime asap.
It's such a cool little place. It's joined together with a plant nursery and a garden supplies store.
So I have two more weeks of night shift and then I'm back with the living!
Ahhh the crazy changes.
Wednesday, March 28, 8:39 p.m.
I haven't written anything here in a long time.
Last weekend I went to Blueridge. That was pretty fun. Pretty drunken.
We were supposed to go to Science World on Saturday but that did not happen.
I'm currently sick (devil flu/cold) and I have to go to work tonight.
I printed off a bazillion resume's and I'm going to be handing them out this weekend and so on until I get a new job.
The two people who were supposed to write me letters of reference both disappeared this week. I dunno what's going on with that.
Ah well.
Friday, March 16, 9:04 p.m.
Deepak means 'Big Wuss' in French.
So I've worked a few 11 and 12 hour shifts these past few weeks. With travel (an hour each way) that makes for some really long days...nights. Whatever.
I'm not sleeping so good either. 3 hours, 4 hours. A nap.
But I'm making some delicious money.
I also just found out that McDonalds night crew makes more money than I do (depressing, no?)
It's finally the weekend for me.
And I got the best news ever concerning a co-worker I dislike muchly.
So for now I am bissfully happy.
Saturday, March 10, 4:57 a.m.
The fools gave me a credit card.
BWAHAHAHAHAHa
Saturday, March 3, 9:43 p.m.
So I just filed my taxes.
Boring.
Oh well, I get money back.
Money money moooooneeeyyyy
, 6:14 a.m.
So I went to see Pan's Labrynth with Sunee and 2 other people (a friend of Sunee's and his friends girlfriend).
That movie was totally not what I expected but it was so good.
It was also fairly shocking. I was kind of expecting a sweeter more...chilish movie. But it defiantely wasn't.
It had some brutal violence that just made me want to curl into a ball.
But the movie was set during a civil war so it wasn't senseless.
The special effects were rather good, as was the makeup. It's hard to tell which was which.
I also got my bill from Telus. It's pretty big (which was expected because it's my first bill and so all the connection fee's were on it)
Telus certainly knows how to sneak in hidden fee's.
They also don't set up the bill so that you know and understand what everything is.
They charge you $10, $20 or $30 for something that has this vague and random name. Hopefully most of these charges wont be on ALL my bills.
I was charged around $40 for "subscription adjustment" which is weird because I never adjusted my subscription, just signed up.
I was also billed $30 in long distance fee's which should not have been because I asked for the $20 call canada unlimited. But apperantly that didn't kick in until Feb 23, not Feb 7 when I got the phones connected.
Strange considering I had my plan all set up 2 days before my phone was actually connected.
Sigh, things are never easy.
Also my job was been extended until July now, not June.
I don't know if this is good or bad? I guess it's good because it means mooonnnney. But who knows.
